Raven’s Claw! Chatter, Chatter…..and so it goes…

SPIRIT MESSAGES!

That damn monkey mind…constantly chattering away and dissuading us from accomplishing the things that are most beneficial. How do you tame that beast?

I often tell clients not to listen to the voice in your head….the voice that is very rarely intuitive nor correct. It babbles constantly, enhancing feelings of distrust and insecurity. It thwarts you at every turn and you cannot be complete unless you stop relying on it and relying on your intuition instead. The voice of the heart is more profound, more intuitive and more reasonable then the monkey mind can ever be.

The way to silence this chattering chimp is not to demand it to stop, that will only infuriate it and make it more aggressive, Instead, acknowledge what it has to say and affirm to it that you have listened, then say to it that you have pondered another path. In doing this, the voice will move on. You must be vigilant in order to gradually release your dependence on this mind. It takes time, but it is well worth the effort!

  1. Hello Scott,
There is a reason why people keep listening to that voice in their heads. It is because they avoid the message behind the rambling. So for example, if someone keeps hearing “You are not worthy” it means that they have self esteem issues that need to be addressed. Otherwise, that voice will never be quiet.

It was great connecting with you today. Keep it up with the great work!
